It's A F****** Disgrace

He's a disgrace himself but the fact is he's not wrong. The refereeing standard in UEFA is an absolute abomination, a joke. Chelsea should have had about 3 clear-cut penalties, and Barcelona should not have had a man sent off (and no, bad decisions do not cancel themselves out, it does not work that way).

Quite frankly, Chelsea were robbed tonight.

Not 3 clear cut mate. One clear cut and two maybe's.

Started to think I was losing the plot.

I actually have sympathy for Chelsea tonight. I would be absolutely pig sick if Everton were robbed like that. Duncan against Villarreal was hard to take.

As much as Chelsea typically whinge, they had good reason tonight. If it was Everton, I would be made up to see Everton players showing passion like that. Shows they care. Any fan playing would do the same.

They have lost with no dignity whatsoever. If Everton had behaved like that at the end of the game I would have been embarassed. What good has come of what they did and said at the end?

Did the ref say ok, you win have a penalty. No. Game over. Walk away, leave it to the manager to comment. No dignity. Same as when they were scrapping with Arsenal players in that cup final.

Lid, the way Chelsea went out tonight has wrecked their confidence. We're psychologically better than they will be in the final now.

Back to the topic title. Chelsea were robbed, but Drogba is a disgrace. As is the whole whining Chelsea team. When something doesn't go their way they surround the ref and moan and b**ch. Only man to take any dignity away with them tonight is Guus Hiddink
Whatever Lid . Glad you put us right .
Lid .

Passion mate.

Human emotion isn't it.

Have you never reacted to a sense of injustice or something you have felt is wrong?

Sure but man handling the ref. Swearing directly into the live cameras. Is that what a professional footballer should do?

I think Drogba should show some emotion whilst on the pitch and not cheat and feign injury.

The ref was Norwegian, what did they expect....he'll be a Kopite wanting revenge

:lol::lol::lol:

This is what its all about isn't it, your dislike of Drogba? (y)

Just passion isn't it Ghost. It happens. I'm sure you have hurled abuse at decisions in the past, Collina, Clattenburg etc. Is that how a professional web designer should act?

And don't say you haven't, we've all done it (y)

Gus Hiddink basically has said that the ref cheated, and that Uefa have got involved with some underhand cheating.

Not in so many words, but that's basically what he is saying.

Passion and emotion would be kicking bottles and on your knees with your head in your hands.

I havent seen the footage but from whats been said (here and on the radio) Chelseas reaction went beyond passion and emotion.

Compare that with Darren Fletchers reaction last night. If that was a Chelsea player showing passion and emotion they probably would of screamed at the ref, refused to leave the pitch and thrown themselves on the floor.

There's a line and it sounds like certain players crossed it (again).

How did our players react after Duncs goal was ruled out against Villareal?

I just find it hard to join hands with a cheat to call someone else a cheat.

and that's all I have got to say to you on the matter mate. You have taken a discussion about football and turned it into my career. Well done.

I wanted to see Chelsea go through, being an English team but after the theatricals of Dogpoo :( that feeling fell out of my ar$e.

That.... man? is a disgrace to footballers in this country, him and Ronaldo should get wed. How he missed that sitter, I'll never understand.

He'd be right to imply that too. The "English problem" solved for this year. Just like when we got robbed out of our chance to go into extra time against Villareal when Collina chalked DF's header off - 5 English teams in the CL KO stages?! That's why they brought Collina back out of retirement to polish that one off. Problem solved.

???

Forget Drogba for a moment, its not about him.

Your career was to merely illustrate a point. We're all human at the end of the day, and passion influences all - regardless of title.
