Working week was rubbish. Happy to get to the weekend. Drank too much and now the weekend is ruined too.

Those are great wishes and I would also include that in addition to Everton winning the league and cups, I wish for 2022 for Colombia and Norway to classify to the World CupFor a better 2022 (and the rest of 2021) , Everton winning the league and cups and everything there is
Congrats on your upcoming retirement @larbert toffee my advise is take some time off just to leisure, after all you are stopping working after 36 at that job. And after a good resting time then make the decision about the part time job.Officialy retiring from that job on August 31after 36years but that was my last day there today. Possibly get a part time for the hell of it or just become a man of leisure, haven't decided yet TT.
Good week. Started off with Monday being an ad hoc day off due to US holiday. Got my car back from the garage on Wednesday all fixed, shiny and clean. Took the missus out for dinner in Chipping Campden on Friday evening. Now it’s the weekend and I’ve been up at my allotment all morning followed by a BBQ this afternoon - plenty of beer, good food and company.
Will sleep late tomorrow and then it’s the Euros final.
Life is sweet
Yeah it’s not far from me. Lovely little townI had no idea you lived near there.
Or if I did, I forgot.

Really beautiful area. Painswick, Winchcombe, Broadway, Bourton-on-the-water, The Slaughters just to name a few are all truly beautifulIt is lovely. Spent a few years living in Cheltenham, and working all over Gloucestershire/Cotwolds.

Yep it's tough alright. You do a bit of stuff or put it off till whenever and all of a sudden its the weekend and where did the week goJust had (another) week of Sundays. Quite like it if I am honest. No rules, no one to answer to, (Mrs R notwithstanding). Might mow the meadow tomorrow, or maybe not. Utterly arsed.
Got some nice presents off my colleagues but it's a civil service dept where you get no recognition beyond a pishy worthless long service medal after 25 years.36 years.
Wow .
Did you get anything in recognition?
Or just a good riddance kick up the backside lol.
I notice that you never have the bottle to tag me in, whenever you make your petty snide little remarks about me.Had my last day at work today, just had a great chinese meal with the family, now out to discuss Rafael over a pint with my kopite mate who I haven't seen socially since lockdown, you enjoy your beer mate and that goes to all genuine Evertonians on here except the plastic ones who support multiple teams including both Sheffield clubs ????? and are usually from the Cork area.
