Because we are all talking about Arsenal losing to City next week, which would mean that they would go into every remaining game as favourites, or evens for a draw. We would still play City, United and Arsenal, as well as Southampton away, amongst others. Anyone thinking we will finish on above 75 points is being unrealistic imo.

TL;DR: Everton always lets us down, same this time, Arsenal are still a little bit good.

This weekend is going to be massive for us,if Arsenal lose to City and we can get a win at Fullham that will leave us 3 points behind with a game in hand. Then Yes we will have an outside chance.

When was the last we were 12 points off top with under 10 ggames to go?
I said that in the other thread mate. Win our game in hand and that's 9 points behind. 9 behind the top of the table. Not expecting us to win the league but like you said when was the last time that happened? We still have a bloody lot to at for, extra days rest as well for the lads so let's hope we can keep the momentum going and get a positive result on Sunday.

Wins breed confidence, now under moyes it was a banker it'd go tits up tonight but with bobby there is a different feeling. However, I did not realise that we had city, utd and the arse at home. It'll be tough, but is achievable.

lets get fulham done with first and then take it a game at a time; injuries and loss form can affect both teams so its pointless speculating.

Guys, come on... If this was roles reversed, and it was a RS, or Newcastle (RS of the east), they would get mocked. Let's all agree we have a very very outside chance, but it really is Arsenal's to lose here

Wouldn't agree that it's a very outside chance at all.

A six point gap is likely to become a three point gap after the weekend, according to the bookmakers odds for both games. We have a game in hand against Palace which again, we will be odds on to win. That would leave us level on points with Arsenal to come to Goodison. Win that game and we're 3 ahead.

We certainly have a more difficult run in, but the results tonight have made it far more likely than you're saying.
