Jack Andrew Garry Wilshere

Really frustrates me when I read these pundits teams for the Euros, and I see Wilshere in the starting line up. There has to come a point where players have to earn their place back, not just be dropped straight in. It's a real kick in the teeth for those players fortunate not to have injury issues but have worked hard to get selected for England.

Will be a travesty when Roy picks him in the Euro squad. He's done absolutely nothing to earn his place
Roy was quoted only a few weeks ago stating that Wilshere was a part of his ideal central midfield and he's spouted it again recently.

As you rightly said, it will be a travesty if he's picked for the Euro squad but what is worse is that it is quite likely that he will probably start!

Personally I do not really rate Wilshere at all, or at least not to the extent the FA do, so I wouldn't want him starting even if he was match fit

However, to go to the Euros when you've most probably not played a single game all and just come back from a broken leg is utter ludicrous.

If he was as good as Messi et al then maybe so, but he's not even that bloody good. It's not how good you are any more; it's who you are...

... or who you play for! *cough* Arsenal, Manure and Liverpool *cough*

It's a 'London club' thing. Has been for decades. Ever since Peter Storey, that yard-dog, of Arsenal got loads of caps compared to what Howard Kendall got. The list is long of London based players getting an easy pass into the England team, particularly for internationals at Wembley? Why? Because the place would be half empty if the team was picked on merit and there was no London based players in it.

And he won't even play him in the role he has experience for with Arsenal as an attacking midfielder, nooooo...Roy has a master plan and sees a guy who has ankles made of glass as our defensive midfielder!!!

Reminds me of how Darren Anderton went to tournaments despite being known as sick note his whole career.

I think he is a special player, however no one unfit should be near the England squad - we have plenty of replacements available

He needs to get out of London. Everton would seem a good fit.
The trouble with that is these lads can afford to whizz back to their mates after a match, then be back home in time for training.
What was that Manc lad who Ferguson washed his hands of like when he got away from his trouble causing crowd? Oh yes, exactly the same.

Also he's permanently injured, so for that reason, I'm oot.
