If we’d signed this lad on loan in June, when we knew he was injured till September, this place would have erupted. Revisionism at its best going on here.

People were going mad this morning because of that nevermind 2 months ago. The same people who didn’t want him signed this morning will be moaning that the club has missed out now.

Can you really blame the player, he's at leeds we look a good proposition, back in the prem, Villa come in and look a better bet so he moves to them. I guarantee it City/Arsenal come in he'll go to them. We are not a great proposition atm. Get pelters for this but I would have preferred Gronto anyway, he's a game changer, but that is looking less and less likely. Priority is still a striker. Move on.

Did anyone, anywhere, post in pre season that the answer to our goal scoring issue is Jack effin Harrison?

The main problem we're going to have is people thinking 'the answer' is going to come from one signing. That would cost the club much more money than it can afford.

A wide player who routinely scores half a dozen and/or sets up half a dozen would obviously help. If this was part of the club's plan before this morning (which you'd assume it was, despite how long it's taken for them to move) then it's a blow.

Regardless of the player's quality, this shambles indicates how totally useless Kenwright, Thelwell etc really are. Harrison has been their target all summer, and a properly-run club would have signed him when the window opened.
