So basically (could be wrong here) the situation with him was any club could come to Leeds and say “we want him on loan” and there’s nothing they could do about it but the structure of the loan wasn’t set (i.e. whether it had an option/obligation etc.)

So Leeds have no power to stop him going at all but they were in control of the loan type.
 
I like Jack Harrison, wanted him for a while.

Although I do like the fact that he went to school in Bolton, and was scouted / picked up by the same Man United scout that picked my son up.

I like his story of rejection to moving to USA to start again at a young age.
 


A good solid signing, he makes the squad stronger and deeper and in particular in attacking areas. I don't think he is better than what we already have in McNeill but certainly not worse either.

A pity about his injury but maybe if he wasn't injured we may not have been able to get him in the first place..... as long as it doesn't take too long to heal.

May 2024 is a long way off and there will be plenty of time for him to contribute to our season.
