Difficult isn’t it. In the set up that we play he is doing what Dyche asks of him. Work hard, harry, try and nick the ball, get it up quick and support the attack when you can. Dyche values different things in this team than the ability to beat a man and creat loads of chances. He wants hard work, clean sheets and try to nick a goal.
In that set up I think he is doing his job. If we don’t like that it is probably Dyche’s tactics that are the issue, but as I have never seen his plays any other way then it is likely that we only get a change of style if the manager goes.
BTW we don’t have many players who suit a change of style and no money …. lol. We are in the mire for a few years yet
Looked ok under bielsa , thing is with bielsa he would get possession , look up and see 10 players bursting forward so he had more options . Obviously bielsa football means you concede goals faster than we receive PSR breaches so it’s not sustainable
