How’s offering a new deal to a kid who cost us nothing remotely similar to us spending some of our transfer budget on Jack Harrison?

I guess it's different actually spending £15-odd million on a player and extending a 4-year contract to them, than bringing them in for a season at a time at a very low cost and modest wages.

Hopefully there is no temptation to try and get him on permanent deal.

Please explain the reasoning behind your reaction. Or would you like a deeper explanation why it's better to bring crap players in on loans as opposed to paying over the odds and being stuck with them for years.

I cant remember the game that he came on and turned it in our favour, he made a huge difference that game. He strikes me as the sort of player who needs to play every week to maintain any sort of consistency.

Those misses were pretty awful, to not even hit the target on either is Sunday league stuff.
