Like I said earlier in the transfer thread we have to get away from signing players who can't get a game elsewhere, this guy has been bombed out of Villa the same way Danjuma was bombed out of Spurs without playing, swerve and get someone who is actually good enough to play football!

Just a smart PSR move on their behalf. Freed up about 10m of profit within the space of six months by basically doing nothing -- can't be bad. Whereas we literally have no young players coming through that have any potential except for filling the bench as our first team squad is so bad.

Yeah, that's a crazy deal. Like I said, Ipswich can take that gamble to try and stay up but since we are still in a precarious position it's too much for us to risk on a player that can easily not live up to the potential he has.

I don’t know where this paranoia comes from, but The Premier League don’t want us relegated.

The Premier League care about the number of supporters watching matches in stadia and on TV around the world.

There isn’t a club as big as Everton to replace us from The Championship. There isn’t a stadium as impressive on TV coverage as BMD, either.

We’re an asset to the Premier League.

Don't think they care much about Everton Wolves Forest etc.

They care more about them over park Utd etc.

Could further critique by adding North West football is over represented and having more South South East or Midland clubs would be beneficial to businesses model. Having Everton out of the league creates space for another to establish themselves as stalwarts plenty from south to choose from.

I agree that we're secondary to the mega clubs - of course.

But by the same token, they love selling things like the Merseyside Derby, they love selling the last season at Goodison Park, they love selling the epic struggle against relegation - and they'll love selling our amazing new stadium next season.

They do not want us relegated. The best thing for them would be a last-day-of-the-season, skin-of-our-teeth survival because it's dramatic.

That's what I'm afraid of, anyone watching our defensive, dour football and our abject negative football, where we can go weeks without scoring, games were we don't even have a shot on goal, forward totally isolated with defenders all around them. If you were an attacking player would you sign for Dyche's Everton ? We need to get shut of him the sooner the better.
