Transfer Rumour Jaden Philogene

Are they coming through? Or just getting very occasional minutes because we literally have nobody else? (Injuries/tiny squad)
Armstrong at 17 started last week in the Premiership...would that not count as coming through?
Not the finished article certainly by some distance but then he is only 17.

Dixon played against Spurs and I think most felt he was one of the better players in a poor display.
Further back we seem to have young prospects like Benjamin ,Graham and others.

Regardless of who has been our manager I think the academy has done well.

Villa are good at playing the game.
Tbf Thelwell has done ok at this too. Dobbin/Irobugnam. Although Beto hasn't looked good and Chermiti has struggled with injuries/lack of playing time, getting anyone in for no upfront fee was always going to be hard and force you to take gambles.

Sensible move.

As I said he and Iroegbunam needed runs of games and coachine which they didnt get at Villa

McKenna will turn him into a good player.

That fee doesnt thrill me with excitement...

...far more choice around at that price point.
Will the Real Slim Zatara please stand up.

He came on at half time replacing Mangala. Since that Lindstrom and Beto also ended up going off injured.
We have no fit striker. We can barely put a midfield out (completely ignoring we have no options on the bench), hence he is being played. This doesnā€™t mean he canā€™t take advantage of the opportunity, but it is no indication that he is ready for the first team.

Strange choice by the player...more chances of getting relegated with Ipswich than us. Even if their manager played a part in convincing the player, it's extremely likely that have a new manager in the summer even possibly sooner. So dyche couldn't really be a factor...not too fuss to be honest as clearly still unproven in the pl.

To be fair mate, Ipswich have just upgraded their defence by getting in Atalanta legend Benito Godfredo to sort out their back line.
