Well there were lots of 'stories' on the net between Feb to May saying Moshiri had pledged £100m to spend. So if it isn't his money he's giving, then that means there would have to be 2 high value player sales and he would have known that back then was actually my point. FFP and all that they can't just plough money in any more, you have to wangle dodgy sponsorship deals like citeh or sell players.
Well from my limited understanding it goes like this:
We have a possible "projected" surplus in the accounts of around 50m, from stuff like the tv money and other funky stuff.
FFP rules state we can spend a max of 105m over 3 years over our turnover.
Thus meaning Moshy man adds 50m to the "budget" this Summer, he could also add 50m to next Summers budget, this easily allowing us to spend 200m over 2 Summer transfer windows.
The wage budget will be reduced drastically at the end of this month and there is likely to be sales, you would imagine, meaning we "should" be able to pay the wages of the players we sign.
Thus meaning, its probably unlikely that we would sell Lukaku 65m and Stones 40m and still spend 100m, IMO, but if needed, we could in theory spend 155m NET in this window, which would be bloody stupid and highly unlikely.
Things like stadium building, training ground improvements and other non playing related things dont normally have any FFP restrictions on them.
Im sure ive made a mistake somewhere, its late and im tired, im sure somebody will be along to correct any errors, in the meantime.
