Rumours Brentford want to sign him permanently. But i know his brother who said he's about to sign a 2 year extension with us. Doubt he'll ever step up into Baines' shoes which is a shame.

If we're honest our youth policy flatters to deceive, fair dos to Osman and Hibbert for breaking through but other than Rooney that's it.

Knew Rodwell would be cited but I disagree he's actually broke through - even allowing for injuries he wasn't a regular with Moyes and I think he's going backwards (or at least sideways judging by his passing).

Without going into Google overload I'm sure the Premiership has seen plenty of 21 yr olds with more appearances genuinely established as 1st team regulars.

This is true. Man marked Silva out the game and really started asserting himself physically with some very good tackles - including the one he was sent off for.
