….yep, I knew him a little because he was in digs with a close friend of mine. There was an issue I won’t go into here but he was a very good player. I have it in mind that Keegan spent a lot of time with him off the pitch and helped him lots.

Would have played against him and Robbie and one or two others, Richard was a hard man, could well look after himself, they were both from an area you had to - nice fella though, but you wouldn't want a thump of him!
