2024/25 Jake O'Brien

At the beginning I confused him with Keane, then he made a decent pass which made me realise it was him on the ball and not Keane 😂
I reckon he might have gotten into Dyche’s good books too when he cleared a ball about 100 feet in the air which then sparked an attack. 😂

Looked decent, hope he gets a run but we all know the score.

Can't drop that dough on a CB and then have them behind keane in the pecking order.

That was one of Keanes better games and there was still enough time for him to look a complete liability when he got himself turned inside out just before we grabbed our 2nd goal.

Once you've got Keane back peddling his body position suddenly becomes so erratic.

Home game against Bournemouth, perfect opportunity to put Keane back on the bench and let Tarkowski marshall O'Brien

O Brien will be a very good player for us but he needs a little time to settle.

If he played in the league and made mistakes he would be slaughtered on here whereas by letting him settle slowly into the team he will get to start when he is ready.
You make it sound like we just signed a 10 year old kid, not a fully grown man. There`s no better place for a new signing than getting on the pitch and clocking up match time, especially when your signing players that have been playing first team at a high level. The most unsettling thing for a new signing is to be sat on the bench watching on, with time to think if they made a mistake signing for us, as they were getting their game at their previous club every week. This lad played European football last year, cost us £17m so get him in the team.
