2024/25 Jake O'Brien

Shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone. He had a very consistent season in France and showed that he’s a good player. Just because the previous manager for reasons only he knows, refused to play him shouldn’t have made people think we’d signed a dud. That’s more of an indictment of the previous manager’s terrible judgement and/or stubbornness as much as anything else.

Tons of ignorant people don't know they're ignorant.

Check your pockets lad, Gakpoo is stuck in there next to your keys.

Quality defensively and good on the ball and committing to support attacks well too - getting strong Branthwaite vibes from him, massive potential to be as good, he’s well on the way.

Just a shame our former custodian was a clueless coward and incompetent football manager, who had a number of blues totally conned.

Stubbornness - The man's most telling trait...

As for judgement, if it isn't a player that he has asked for, then it isn't a player for him.
His judgement is made up before a player takes his first steps at Finch Farm...

Gladly, we don't need to worry ourselves with that anymore...

Hope he's been watching tho...

Have to say the lad lads luck went from worst to best in a few months, under Dyche looked like he'd commited career suicide coming here under a manager who simply wouldn't play him for whatever reason...

Then gets Moyes who the one thing you can say for certain is he knows how to develop a younger defender to maximise their ability.

15-16m whilst no Stones or Branthwaite deal will over time look like an absolute bargain price for him.

Some sort of alternative reality. Went to search for the clip of him brushing off Nunez
