Genuinely asking because I don't follow other clubs on Twitter and have no point of reference: do they recycle crap as much as we do? Patterson doesn't come into the conversation if it's a flat back four. I mean, I;d prefer Garner over him in that position. Just one performance suggested his aptitiude in that position. But there;s no way Duche will play him there apaert from if there';s an injury crisis there.

Looking at what's going on with with inverted full backs at City, Arsenal and with over in Mordor, i think that's going to be the new vouge thing next season, its a role i think Garner can play.

Every interview by any player or manager is cliché ridden, it is full of obvious statements and/or soundbites. I mean if you were a player and were asked the question what can you improve on, how many answers can you give. Work rate, fitness, goals, assists, there are maybe a couple more but every single one has been said a thousand times.

People get worked up when nothing is said and then get all worked up when something is said, it is the way of football.

Being an inverted full back means he does both mate.

Not saying he will be or should, but its the new shiny thing and hes shown aptitude.
