Watched him when he came on, didn't really know where he was supposed to play, it looked like they had just thrown him in and said make a nuisance of yourself.
Good effort with his attempt on goal though.

Yeah he kept dropping really deep to find space, I assume because he backed himself to deliver well from distance and we’d stacked the box with dcl, Rondon and Onana. Good to see him keep showing and a very nice effort unfortunately matched by De Gea’s save.
Can clearly play a bit.

He may not start next week , but what he has done in his short time on the pitch is show our midfield players he is morethan ready if their performances drop to tonight's 1st half performances.
