Yes something like this you could see working. It's a way to get Garner in to add a deeper lying playmaker and you put Gordon playing off DCL.

I also like the likes of Gray/Maupay coming off the bench to bring energy when Gordon or Dom are knackered

I said on the match thread that I was pleasantly surprised by his aggression and physicality when he came on. Didn't expect that.

Very rarely does he misplace passes. Creates space to receive. Got a wicked shot and set piece (not that we have seen too much of it as yet). He has had cameos only and of yet has to disappoint. Looking like a shrewd purchase

I'm not writing him off but I just don't really see why he'd start games right now. His time will come.

Gordon is knackered after 15 minutes.

Think he's the long term Gana replacement. Seems to have a defensive awareness to be in the right place to snuff out opposition chances.
