Onana starting alongside Garner sounds great in a Football Manager sense, but in reality it's playing two inexperienced players at this level in a relegation battle. One in Onana who is struggling for form (and has done all season tbh) and another who hasn't played for months.

Scary thing is it could be the best option.

From his time at Forest hes a player thats a good all rounder and can help us at both ends of the pitch.

Id rather have him and Onana in as if they 'click' we could look better than this mess now.

None of the United fans I know were up in arms. The consensus was that he's tidy, efficient and keeps the ball moving well but won't reach the top level.

He played like once for United. Their fans wouldn’t know any better than ours about this guy. Not sure they were ‘up in arms’ tbh, maybe a raised eyebrow until they signed Casemiro and forgot all about him.

You just need to look at their forums on the date we signed him. They couldnt believe it after the season he had at Forest and being an England u21 player.

Looking at the prices championship players are being touted for, £9mil looks a snip.

Have high hopes for him. Looks a proper footballer.
