If he started to find the early forward pass more and shows a bigger range of passing than he has I'll be very, very wrong and he'll be very, very valuable.

..yep, you are right but I do suspect he will offer more and has another dimension to his game. The lad I know at Wigan said he's the ultimate pro. Lives for the game, doesn't drink, eats all the right stuff and demands exactly the same commitment from his team mates. He might be be captain one day.

You look at Rodwell who's probably a better athlete than him but he doesn't get a tenth of the tackles in. That's down to character.

You needs strong characters and winners in your team as much as you need talent. Hopefully what your mate says is true.

He is really underrated because he isn't a flashy player and I'm sure he would be more appreciated in la liga.
