That is what united fans are saying not me. I for one was sorry to see felliani go and although the side does looks better balanced with McCarthy in it. I am of doubt that are team will ultimately be weaker for his departure. As you say his stats are very impressive. It would be interesting if we had kept felliani and bought McCarthy, whether he would be pushed further forward in the Barkley role behind lukaku.

He annoyed me because he did two boss sliding tackles and everyone around me was cheering him on, and like we didn't even win the ball either time. It went straight to a hull player and meanwhile he was sprawled on the floor.

It was proper Phil Nevile step over stuff, looks great but didn't actually achieve anything.

We've got a very solid core of a team. Coleman, Jags, Baines, Mirallas, McCarthy, Barkley, all here for the next 3-5 years.
