James would run five hundred miles
And James would run five hundred more
Just to be the man who ran a thousand miles
To fight and win the ball
McCarthy (McCarthy), McCarthy (McCarthy)
Da-da-da dun-diddle un-diddle un-diddle uh da-da

With the emergence of Besic his absence has been softened, but James really is our most important player given the system we play. Would love to see him and Besic play together but I doubt it'll happen. Barry will stay there next to one of them.
Me too. Barry plays too many minutes. He's been largely shiite this year (was good against City though). Besic offers a lot. He's very versatile. I'd like to see some sort of rotation between the three. McCarthy is obviously a bit fragile and Barry's legs need more rest than we've given him. Besic should be playing a lot.

I doubt he would choose to, is not the problem the medical staff clearing them to play when they shouldn't?I hope the penny has finally dropped with RM that he has been bringing players back too soon from injury.

It would explain the clearout we've seen, Bobby has little or no confidence in their pronouncements because players blatantly aren't fully recovered when allowed to resume training.
yeah, but he can only go on medical advice. They will tell him when a player is fit to resume training/play. He's not going to go against medical advice, think of the insurance implications if nothing else.Possibly. We don't know who is to blame. Are these medical staff new or are they always been there ? Because if it is the latter it would seem odd that recently there has been an epidemic of hamstring injuries.
Ultimately it is manager's decision whether to play them or not though.

It doesn't matter how long they've been there, there's something in the players programmes that's causing it and our medical staff seem to be struggling to isolate what it is. They are also under pressure (due to the number of injuries) to get players back as quickly as possible. This has lead to players coming back before they should. Bobby will only play the players the Medical team say are fit, he doesn't want more injures or players breaking down after 15 mins and needing subbing. More caution is needed all around, but getting to the bottom of why the injuries are occurring in the first place has to be the number One priority
Indeed, in which case they need to be stronger as it benefits nobody to have a returning player breakdown again. It could be the case that he is putting pressure on the medical staff to get them fit before they really are. Without knowing the full facts it is impossible to know. But the bottom line is that they are coming back too quickly since he has been in charge.
