Moshiris statement today has confirmed that McCarthy is basically surplus to requirements

We clearly tried to replace him. It failed, and because it failed Moshiri is now trying to build bridges with McCarthy to keep him happy. It won't work, and his confidence will be shot more than ever

I really hope it's some kopite on a windup. The "watch this space" makes it sound so kenwright / kopite

But Jim must be pretty confident it's Moshiri to have posted it? You couldn't just randomly text him and say oh it's Moshiri and him to believe you?

I'm hoping that it is fake and that the 1st txt 'watch this space' was allowed to go (by Moshiri/Everton) as it was thought to be a joke.
I'm hoping that the 2nd txt/statement has been acted on and they've allowed White space to explain how he's been duped.
If neither, then it's pretty sad really.
 
I have always assumed it was a wind up from the first text , and expected the club to quickly disavow it. The fact they haven't up til now is another example of a badly run organisation. Or ,of course they could be real which is actually quite disquieting. Nah it has to be a wind up ,doesn't it?!!!

I think most clubs apart from a handful and we all know who they are need to be quite careful with calling out sky tv considering the money they put into the game. They can't just release a statement saying the deadline day King superstar who is held in such high regard by the majority of idiots who watch football in this country is wrong in his reporting of deadline day.

I imagine it's being dealt with behind the scenes somehow as it absolutely has to be a windup with 'watch this space' being used.

He's injured again too best did wards passer of the ball since the last poor midfielder we have had - He had one very good season got injured badly poor ever since IMO should have off loaded him let a youngster have his place
