Mate your lot are completely overreacting lol
Really? Our most skilful player is deliberately taken out and we're overreacting?

Glad you think it's funny when a player gets hurt. I hope ref's have marked his card for the rest of the season.

West Ham fan here. I come in peace.

Would appreciate it if some of you take a look at McCarthy's tackle on Amaltifano last year, then look again at the one on Payet on Saturday. You really think McCarthy didn't mean it? He has deliberately set out to hurt two players.

Some of you (too few it seems) know you've got a Neanderthal playing for you whose sole objective is to take out more skilful players. Most are making fools of themselves defending the indefensible.

I always thought you had more class than the red half of the city. Boy was I wrong.
Players make tackles.
Players get injured.
It's happened to us and it's happened to you and it'll happen again and again because it's football.

Tackle was a yellow card and nothing more. He got the ball and the man.
Have a nice day mate. Don't worry about where you'll finish without Payet, I'm sure someone else will step up and do the business for you.

hahaha this is turning into one of football's great episodes. It's like a player has never been injured before and football has lost one of it's greats. There's a reason why they call football a squad game.

Some of those posts have to be windups, if not i don't think their names should have been blocked out. Also, why are they acting like his leg was broke? It wasn't was it?

All the one poster, that's why I blocked his name!

It was a good tackle, mate. He got the ball and 10 years ago it wouldn't have even been a red. He didn't go in high or late.

However, he did go in with a scissor action and that is dangerous. But to say he's gone out to deliberately injure him is ridiculous. It was a spur of the moment, aggressive tackle. Unfortunately your lad has come off worse and that is unlucky. But injuries happen. Dier did a very similar tackle on Cleverley this season that has put him out for two months. Did you see us complaining and calling him a Neanderthal? No. Becasue, like McCarthy, he won the ball and got the man as well. So what??

Also, you have Andy Carroll playing for you and for the last four/five have had Kevin Nolan. Get off your high horse (as a collective).

Wow.

I forgot they had Kevin Nolan playing for them.
If ever a thug had meandered his way onto a football pitch, it was Mr Nolan.
Grock of all grocks

This coming from a club who had Kevin Nolan as captain for the last 3 years!

I thought you called yourselfs the Irons not the Ironics.

Tackles happen, one of our players got taken out like that this season and our reaction was "oh well, that's football". You would think he'd gone round to his house and beat him up the way west ham fans are carrying on.

Welcome to the forum, mate. Next year, McCarthy's coming for Lanzini x

No. We just think it's funny when a footballer tackles another footballer and an entire fanbase begins crying for assault charges despite it not even being a sending off offence.

Why would you spitefully wish the officials have "marked his card"? You see the problem doesn't lie with us, but yourselves.

It's ok though we are here to help you through this difficult period. Whilst we laugh our tits off at you dropping below us in the league like.

They won the fair play trophy you know mate. Least yellow and red cards and all that.
Got them into Europe where they bottled it and had about 5 players sent off in as many games.
Hahahaha. Was this August 1895 good sir?

No lad it was just over two months ago.

Such gentlemen or association football!

Who is your second most skilful player mate ?

Is it voted for by the fans or is it based on how many keepy ups the player can do ?
