James McCarthy

West Ham fan here. I come in peace.

Would appreciate it if some of you take a look at McCarthy's tackle on Amaltifano last year, then look again at the one on Payet on Saturday. You really think McCarthy didn't mean it? He has deliberately set out to hurt two players.

Some of you (too few it seems) know you've got a Neanderthal playing for you whose sole objective is to take out more skilful players. Most are making fools of themselves defending the indefensible.

I always thought you had more class than the red half of the city. Boy was I wrong.

If it was us, i'd be gutted our player out for a long time with a bad injury. Honestly not being a tit here and saying it was a good challenge but he did win the ball first...

34 seconds in, if my opinion is wrong and i'm a "classless [Poor language removed]". I'm sorry.

Was a silly tackle by McCarthy but he is clearly intent on getting the ball. It's not his intention to take out the player. Deserved a yellow and even if he had gotten a red I wouldn't be too annoyed. I'm glad to see some steel back in the team.

Surprised the West Ham fans haven't started a conspiracy that it's retaliation from France knocking Ireland out of the World Cup in 2009. Seeing as he's "deliberately" set out to injure two French players now!

McCarthy is working his way up the list.
I'd hate to be that Terry Henry if Jamesy spots him at a match. He'd be straight into the crowd with a two-footed challenge with those Rosa Klebb poison knifes flicking out of his boots.

State of you, you quivering wreck. Get Gold to whack a dildo splint on him and he'll be up and running in no time.

I see a miscontrol from Payet, and a genuine attempt to win (and successfully win) the ball;

His left leg rolls over the ball, and the angle of the challenge causes a scissor motion. It doesn't look pretty, but it's a genuine attempt to win the ball.

We had the same a few months back;

But we didn't all cry about it. In fact, manager;

“It was an unfortunate action, when Eric Dier went with all the power and the strength of the world,” said the Catalan.

“He gets the ball and it's unfortunate that he gets Tom's leg, it wasn't malicious, it was a nothing challenge. It was very fair.

“We don't know [how long] yet, he'll be out for a period, but Tom is so fit, any other player would have broken his leg there.

“So maybe with a little bit shorter period he'll be back on the pitch.”

As for the "a Neanderthal playing for you whose sole objective is to take out more skilful players" - get a grip. Does he have a record of this? Like Nolan did for you?

How many games has McCarthy played at the highest level as a defensive midfielder? 200+

Now, how many red cards?

0.

Now kindly jog on, soft lad.

Their fanbase includes Russell Brand, James Corden and Danny Dyer. Are we surprised they're a bunch of obnoxious melts??

This should be a Fatality in the next Mortal Kombat

Well, if you like that kind of thing, consider it won't be so nice if it happens to us ? James McCarthy is likely to be a marked man now, by the rest of the Premier League, now they've seen what he's like, we're not going to be happy if he goes out with a long term ?

I'm not optimistic now about the rest of the season, which is average anyways for us. Stones will go in January, then we'll see Barkley head turned, Barry is past it, so this moment brings bad fortune to us, whereas Payet will recover and hold his head up, more than we can.

Now that is taking it too far.
