Get a grip mate. You "hate" McCarthy? What are you 9 and in the dinner queue at school? Everyone can have different opinions but it's pretty tragic to use such an adjective for one of our own players.

For my part I think he has the inate class that many of our players do not possess. He needs to stay fit and get game time. In my opinion, on his day, he is an absolutely top class midfielder.

He can't.

He was good for 1 season poor in the other 2 and can't stay for for another 1 and 1/2 year. Better sold him to make rooms and we get N'Zonzi in.

For N’Zonzi which is what I believe Sam wants. I do think Sam would punt Schneiderlin too if it came to it although still think there is a player in Morgan.

I won’t us the challenge the top 6 but with McCarthy in the team that will never happen. Our midfield is atrocious and the worst it’s been in a long time. McCarthy by the way wouldn’t even make the bench for any of the top 6.

I’m not a McCarthy fan by any stretch but think he’s been given a raw deal regarding his performance yesterday.

Throwing him in to the side after playing only one game all season was a joke. Yes he was poor but he’s nowhere near match fit and shouldn’t be anywhere near the starting 11.

The book stops with the manager for picking a clearly unfit player. Wasn’t like he was short of CM options either.
