James McFadden quite clearly is a striker.

Clearly.

The lad developed, earned his professional contract and represented his country as a striker.

David Moyes opting to play him left wing doesn't make him a left winger.

Just like Rodwell isn't a centre midfielder. Just like Coleman isnt a right winger. Just like Osman isn't a left winger. Just like Anichebe isn't a winger. And so on, and so on...

On another note entirely - I'd be interested to know how many times McFadden started, up front for Everton.

James McFadden 109 games 11 goals
Tim Cahill 200 games 54 goals

Nice try.

How many of those games Faddy played were sub appearances or when he was out wide?

Cahill has always had the 4-5-1 and been the man to get into the box in his favour. Not saying Timmy is a bad player he is a legend but when we play him as the lone striker like Moyes has it negates his value to the team. Rather have Faddy up there and Timmy arriving in box late which suits him and he is brilliant at.

A free agent...but only signed him till the end of the season....?

Add to the fact he's been without a club. for this long on the back of brum not renewing his contract?

Something's wrong with him IMO

Well he did do his cruciates and is only just fit so I guess that would be it then.

Brum couldn't afford to give him a contract even if they wanted too.

I'd have to disagree on the Rodwell one, he's not got the strength or aerial ability to play at centre back for me - he's playing at CM for the U21s too, now. And Coleman hasn't got the awareness to play at right back.

The top comment from one of the faddy youtube pages.

Don't talk sh!te, Kris Boyd may have a better goalscoring record but who's he scored against? Falkirk, Killie, Motherwell, St Mirren ect....

Boyd offers nothing, he can't run, he's slow, can't pass, can't link up play, can't hold the ball up.

McFadden is 10x the player Boyd is, McFaddens got technique, ability, skills, a brilliant touch, all he needs to do is be consistant and for Scotland he's been the best thing since Kenny Dalglish.

Need we say more folks.
