*Walks into EvertonTwo sobbing clutching Everton shirt*

"McFadden please"

*runs out holding newly printed McFadden shirt crying uncontrolably*

I mean come on?

This is a bad dream, im gonna wake up soon surely.................

None of this is real. I'm going to wake up on Monday morning of the 17th of October again soon, and this will all be a test from God to see how strong I am at sticking to my beliefs. (That's the best reason I can come up with for signing McFadden)

ive noticed an awful lot of negativity here, but at the end of the day we need players and he's available and free!
who would you rather? Victor, Bily or McFad? none brainer for me! was never a massive fan but he was with us for 5 years and did pitch in, okay he struggled for form but this team is different, we're no longer (solely) hoof to the lanky fella up front. i dunno, as a squad player and maybe super sub its gotta be worth a chance. we all know louis' injury problems, and cahill is playing through the pain barrier at the moment, also gueye has had a few niggles lately! be all and end all is we're desperately short on strikers and he knows and respects the club and fans! welcome back James lad!!

To be fair, you're right in that sense. But it's not the fact we're signing McFadden who isn't good enough which is depressing, it's the fact we probably need him at the moment.

Im sorry but I disagree, hes not even a Striker for me, never was.

We dont need strikers, we have enough within the squad.

We certainly dont need such gashness as James McFadden.

And your very wrong about him respecting the fans, as was pointed out, he blanked us last time he came to Goodison.

It all smacks of small time, honestly, Stoke are now a bigger Club than us.

I don't mind him, but I think he'll add only marginally more than Hahnneman.

Jeeeez. We signed him didn't we, I totally forgot about that

McFadden is the best example of a player who isn't a striker or a winger that I can think of.
