Our far higher attendances than them both, and the fact we've won 10x what they have and have 10x their fanbase size says otherwise. If you're talking about money spent they are, but on that basis Man City are a bigger club than Real Madrid.

He was substituted and walked off very slowly. The crowd started whistling him. When he got to the edge of the pitch by the dug outs he applauded the fans and got a big cheer! A cool moment which raised a few laughs on a very cold and snowy afternoon.

SO HE DID ACKNOWLEDGE THE FANS.

I am not too pleased to see him back either, but when I read something which does not reflect what I saw, I will defend him.

To be fair Stoke sell out every game. They are potentially a bigger club than some give them credit for.

Not bigger than us of course but who cares really? Size means absolutely nothing. There are 4-5 modern "big" clubs and then a big load of nothingness. We are in the latter group sadly.

Nah, that was the year later. Everyone remembered the last time so booed him off, and when he realised he gave a quick (possibly sarcastic) clap. So nah.

I recall many times when he was near the Street End, lots of "funny" comments aimed his way regarding Will Young, he never looked pleased with them, as you wouldnt.

Then it came out he was getting Married to the Mother of his Child.

I honestly thought it was true.
