Anyone want to volunteer to tell him :p

Got to be our robinho moment this...
City wasted loads on average players for years,
Got a half decent manager in and signed robinho who was decent, never looked back...
We've got Carlo, and hamez....fingers crossed
That’s actually the opposite of what happened at Man City. City brought in Mark Hughes as manager in 2008, then got taken over a few months later and brought in Robinho who was average at best for them. They then sacked Hughes and brought in Mancini who set them up to be the club they are today.

I think what he means is that Robinho was the moment people stopped and looked up and recognised City.

We’re domestically a huge side, and widely recognised. Whilst the Premier League is the biggest league, our appeal and awareness to people outside of the continent is what? Minimal at best.

Robinho was the catalyst for further players to look up and think “go on”.Obviously Robinho was a flop and hugely disruptive, but he was the start of something at City.

I mean what is different for us, is we can’t offer stupid wages due to FFP, and our manager (unlike Mark Hughes) is the draw, players want to come and play for one of the best managers of the last few decades.

Robinho was absolutely the catalyst for change at City. It didnt work out with him but opened eyes and opened doors to others to come on board.

didnt realize that he only played 1 season at Real under Carlo and 1 month at Bayern under him according to Wikipedia. So hopefully it lasts longer this time lol
