he won't,, South Americans are very passionate about playing for their Country, only British players think clubs are more important.

I would atleast be giving Columbia a nudge to not play him in that game 2-3 days before the derby.

Let him sit on the bench unless needed.

Isn't it a WCQ though, no chance he'll sit it out. We have to accept that these lads enjoy playing for their countries.

Now lets not be selfish and let's support our Colombian magician shining with the national team too. He hasn't played for Colombia in over a year and these matches are not friendliest they are world cup qualifiers. I totally understand the worry about him getting injured but we could also be worrying about DCL going to England. I think instead of sending such vibes we should stay positive that they are going to stay healthy and injury free : )

Yeah and that 2nd game is away at Chile. He will play both games. The only hope is that we sre firing at all cylinders and he gets an early night which is possible the way Colombians are performing right now at their clubs
