There are comparisons being made with Ball (my favourite player of all time), but he was a different type of player to James, Bally was up and down the pitch and ferociously hard working as well as being hugely talented! I know its only five games but James just sort of glides round having a positive impact on the game virtually every time he touches the ball!
If he's here for three years or more a) I think it will be because we have started winning stuff, and b) he'll be deservedly mentioned in future in the same terms as the Golden Vision and Bally!

If we can keep Carlo then James will stay
To keep Carlo I reckon we will have to keep the promises Usmanov made to him at the meeting that never happened

I think they've kept their promises up to know, so hopefully it will continue

I really don't think there's anything to suggest we haven't kept those promises either. It will et easier to keep promises as well, if we are in Europe, ideally the CL for a whole host of reasons. Commercial revenues start to sky rocket and the calibre of player who's cuing up to join is jumps again. Suddenly these top talents who we've wanted but couldn't get start becomign attainable.

It sounds mad, but say Jadon Sancho may be an option if we are top 4. I'm mot saying we sign him, but he starts to come onto our radar.

I suspect we will go the Italian route, and I know Zat is a big fan of Tonali so he could come in. Kean I think will be "keen" to come back, as you feel would Donnarumma. It opens up doors.

Zaniolo, Is a talent but he has suffered his 2nd ACL in 12 months

Just imagine - First game at BMD, Carlo still in charge, Ben Godfrey leading the team out, Richarlison still here, and James still on board, happy days!
Then we wake up ;)

Given his game seems to rely more on his technically ability over his athleticism, how long do you reckon he can play on at this level for? 3-4 more years?
