James played three passes in one match that were all better than Thiago’s offside pass, and they’re not even his best of the season. The through ball to DCL that forced the corner is absolutely unreal. He just drops almost to the right back position, takes it under pressure and in an instant skewers their whole team with one ball along the deck .

To be fair on the football show, ex Liverpool reserve fullback, can't think of his name, called that pass, the pass of the game, he said it took out 5 Liverpool players. Incredible player, who I don't want tracking back, I want him creating and scoring goals the other end.

I didn't know he was a leader before he came, everything pointed to him being a bit quiet and self contained. Leads by example and instruction, big fan of him lashing out the invisible yellow cards and we've needed this type of thing at Everton considering every other club has been crowding the referee for years.

Hes also not a bad player like.

What was his drama in Madrid?

He came in as "galactico" as that brought a lot of scrutiny right off the bat.

They also had just gotten rid of Di Maria after a CL winning season so some people took him negatively right off the bat. Saying he was 80 million just because he is scored a great goal.

Then he was playing ahead of Spanish darling Isco so the media focused on James.

He also stated behaving like Cristiano on the pitch a bit and like a superstar off the pitch. Partying and having some problems with his wife. The media had a field day with that stuff plus some speeding tickets.

Once Zidane stopped playing him, James would make comments like happy to be with the national team where I am appreciated and such. James' mom would also constantly make comments on social media dissing Madrid and Zidane.

Overall, he didn't do anything major and it was more a result of the media plus Zidane not playing him for no real reason but he played his part as well.

But now he is more mature. He has the support of his coach. He is loved by the fans. He is a family man. He realizes this is really his last chance to reclaim his glory.

This a match made in heaven.
