He is a playmaker that needs movement from other players to do his thing. Without Digne, a poor Richy, and no Coleman, he has no one to do his thing. It's simple.

My only complaint is that he needs to shoot then. Can't do his through balls if no one is moving. So just shoot
A poor choice to try and put Richy in when he had a clear pop at goal

Sorry I don’t understand. I know the lad can play , but he is not doing it just now. If he is the player that everyone wants him to be then he dominates games and that is not happening right now yet people are blaming other players for not being at his level. He’s not in the game enough to say that at the minute.and there is an example in the post above

He scored a wondergoal that came off the board on a tight off side. Had an assist scored taken off the board (that I think could have been argued as a bad call on a deflection). Had another two gorgeous balls directly onto feet in the box (one to Keane, I think another to Richy) that would have been goals most days.

I think total five chances created today and not really half chances either.

This team has actually been pretty efficient finishing all season - if they finish anything like the season to date Everton wins comfortably today.

He also took a couple of pops at goal (one good save from the french kid and the other too cheeky trying to lob him) and was making the right runs into the box. This was not a game where he was passive.

I know theres other issues in our team and I understand what he does for our team offensively but his lack of defensive work is starting to concern me. It's almost non existent

I'm not sure he was offside btw.
The rules are any part of the body.

Not sure about that.
The rules arent very clear.
They kind of are. The defender has to intentionally play it to start a new phase so if Richarlison heads it into the defender it doesn't reset and Godfrey is off. Only way it should have counted is Richarlison making no contact as the last of ours to touch it then would be James taking it so everyone would be on.

Very confusing
