But let's sell him in January since he is not worth it.

James is the second player with the most options created in English football with 25. The Colombian is only surpassed by Jack Gralish of Aston Villa who has 26.

In a team full of players giving the ball away under zero pressure, james is the one player who on receiving the ball I feel genuinely confident he will find a blue shirt. He’s given it away a few times of late but nowhere near like the others do. I’d like to see his pass completion compared to others in the team and then take into account he’s also trying to create goals too.....

It also adds to the pressure on him. Bar Richarlison he's the main player who can make things happen. So he's getting more attention from opponents.

Frankly we could do with a couple of others who opponents fear.

I am not going anywhere but people are saying he is hurting the team, one guy said his negatives outweigh his positives. When that's the case, a player should be sold because he is hurting you.
Honestly some of the nonsense I have read on here makes this look pretty normal. I'd take no notice of anyone who wants James sold or thinks he's a detriment to the team. I'd make a team of runners just to get the most out of him.

What you have to understand is, our fans have been conditioned over about a decade to think that attacking players have a responsibility to do defender’s and midfielder’s work for them as well as their own. We haven’t had a luxury player capable of winning games singlehandedly since the mid-90s at least. It’s over a decade of David Moyes mentality being drilled into us, we just expect to see wingers hurtling back and winning tackles on the edge of our own box, that’s just Everton to us. We really are a simple bunch when you get down to it.
