At least we are not really relying on him, but when one game turns into 2 and so on you think its worst than said, then when Carlo said last week or so that he was out more than the one game due to games been close together, you would have thought he would know that type of thing when he said one game

Seems to me that we have a good system working now. Sig is playing well.
Carlo could be looking at this as a good opportunity to maybe bring Coleman back in but not change too much.
I think Sheff Utd. is a great game to bring James back, he'll occupy their defense and free up tons of space, also gets him up to speed for city.
Not surprised he's out for this.

Still training individually as well - will be hard pressed to play against Sheffield (maybe off the bench). Can't see him starting again until City and most likely West Ham.

Are they hiding a bad injury or something? Very baffling how two games turns into four, then no date given for a return, with no mention of actually what's up as if it's something that needs to be kept under wraps.

I think we've been so lucky to have had these four tough games in a row that are actually better to be more solid at the back and without a luxury playmaker on the wing - but can't wait to see him back!

He was grocked by van Dijk. That's the reality. And he hasn't recovered from that yet.

Ancelotti was diplomatic about it, but if the Pickford incident hadn't occurred, I imagine he would have let his emotion surface just a little more.

As it was, it wasn't even recognised for what it was and swept away in the midst of the life-threatening injuries suffered by Van Dijk.

Better he stays out and returns fit and ready, we have form for rushing players back when they were not right.
