I think it was always a push for him to be fit for this one.

It's what it is. He can't keep fit because of that calf problem. It does him in.

We'll do well to get 25 games out of him but he's boss for the vast majority of them.

That calf problem also needs to be managed better. Feel like we need him to be getting specialist treatment.

That calf problem has been a nuisance for 6 years.

Really hate that freaking thing by now.

But i also get frustrated because muscle injuries are something that can prevented with proper stretching and fitness routines.

I hope this summer under normal circumstances, he and the team make his fitness their number one priority in regards to him

If James was fit enough to play 40-50 games a season, he probably wouldn't be at Everton.

30 would be a nice starting point.

Dont think they travel the day before anymore , they fly the day they are playing and straight back after it.

I wasn’t expecting anything.
I was hoping he’d be fit for games where we’d need him.
To qualify for Europe we need our best players available.
I’m not really wanting a debate on it, I’m disappointed he’s not available again.

It sounds like you were expecting him to play 30 games this season.

Very disappointed James is not fit to play against Chelsea but at least Everton has won many games this season without him on the field so on the Blues I still trust.
