Nice question, in the season 2016-17 he plays 22 matches, score 8 goals and have 6 assist (Madrid)
In Bayern he plays 23 matches, score 7 goals and have 11 assist
And from Champions League he´s not 100% in the bench, in the 2016-17 plays 6 matches, 2015-16 5 matches

He played a lot for bayer in 17/18 season. Was midfielder of the year and among their best players for that season.

He has won midfielder of the season in Spain and Germany and has been on the starting 11 of the season for both leagues

And yeah

I don't remember Zidane ever saying that by the way

And that's also the same Zidane who still uses a washed up Marcelo, Hazard, Isco, and Asensio.

James alone has more goals and assists in this season than that lot combined the past 2 seasons
