I thought he had a pretty good second half after a pretty poor first half. Anything decent we did second half was because of him and his fitness and effort were really good until the end.

Some great bits of play yesterday, good touches, lovely little passes, continues to send premier league midfielders and defenders for hot dogs.

Pleased with his work rate yesterday but if we don't press as a team then it is pointless. He wasted a lot of energy chasing the ball into the full back, who had an easy out ball. Need to sort that out

Some lovely technique in the second half when he came deeper to look for possession. Has a surreal ability to switch feet and create momentum in a different direction and can wrongfoot two to three defenders around him very easily. Pity the leaden feet plodders and pointers around him show no movement whatsoever so he then has nobody to lay off a creative pass to.
Get Doucore back in there, add a youthful and mobile replacement to Gome/Sig and a winger in the truest sense and suddenly we can bring out the best in James. Sadly, for now he is wasted.
