He could slot into Citys first eleven he is that good,I watched Real against the other lot and it must have been a proper row with Zidane as James is tailor made for them in my opinion, some of the stuff he has played for us this season has been outrageous, we have to bring top,top quality in to supplement this treasure we have at our disposal.
Dario good point except all City’s players work for ninety minutes including the goalkeeper.

I continue to think that Zidane saw the defensive liabilities as too much to manage around. It's hard to argue with the results.

It's equally clear that James can play for a legit contender. He certainly contributed at Bayern when on the pitch.

That pass to King.....just perfect. How many players overhit that with so much going, 9 out of 10.

I'm not arsed about goals of the season anymore, pass of the season was that peach against West Brom where he calved open about 5 defenders and Digne couldn't believe it had got through to him.
Don’t forget his nutmeg pass to put siggy 1 on 1 with the keeper in the last minute against burnley away. No Everton player I have ever seen would have seen that pass never mind tried it never mind executed it

What about the very similar pass Siggy gave to James in the first half versus Spurs last Friday.

James Rodriguez’s discontent with Everton’s recent results in the Premier League is doing the rounds in the Colombian media today.

The Toffees’ star was live on Twitch at the weekend, playing video games and speaking to fans, and was asked about Friday’s 2-2 draw against Tottenham Hotspur.

Rodriguez, who won a penalty which resulted in Everton’s first goal, seemed happy with his performance, but disappointed for letting a win escape from their hands again.

“The game was good, I felt good, I played well, but drawing at all times is also very hard,” said Rodriguez (via FutbolRed).

Besides Everton’s defensive mistakes, James Rodriguez points out that their attacking sector hasn’t been doing great either.

“We have to be a little more focused and score goals, we’re missing a lot. We have options and we miss it, so it’s very complicated.”

Everton haven’t won any of their past five games. Following defeats against Chelsea and Burnley, in which the Colombian star didn’t take part due to injury, the draws against Crystal Palace, Brighton and Tottenham all had the 29-year-old in the starting team.

Everton now prepare for a tough challenge against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Friday night. That’s likely to be one of their last chances to try to get a spot in a European competition for next season, depending, of course, on what happens with the Super League monstrosity.

Totally agree....however he needs a Rain check himself. The will and desire to play European football is understandable, but he has struggled with injuries because of the schedule this season, so what will be different if we qualify for Europe and the 2 game a week scenario associated with that !!!!
If he decides to move on he might be surprised himself by the lack of future clubs willing to pay him the wages that Everton pay him.

Good footballer, haven't seen enough of him. Another name in the long list of imports we've lashed out on.

Still you can't get anywhere with English midfielders. Just ask West Ham or Leicester.

He's played 21 games for us this season mate, if you haven't seen enough of him you've either been asleep of 3 inches deep. West Ham having their best season in about 50 years with a midfield containing Soucek and Fornals.

Good footballers are good footballers. It doesn't matter where they are from when it comes to ability.

West Hams fortunes have improved since signing two Czechs...
