He's played 21 games for us this season mate, if you haven't seen enough of him you've either been asleep of 3 inches deep. West Ham having their best season in about 50 years with a midfield containing Soucek and Fornals.
And Rice and Lingard and Antonio and a decent British manager that had us in the same spot.

Good footballers are good footballers. It doesn't matter where they are from when it comes to ability.

West Hams fortunes have improved since signing two Czechs...
Sure. I live in Czech Republic with my parter and son. It's lovely. This isn't about not valuing overseas players. It's about having heart and grit in your team as well as a lovely left foot. Maybe James could stay on, but with a midfield of luxury players like Sigs and no ball-winners and no-one dominating he's just another 'quality' player that gives us 6 out of 10, becuase we no-one doing the graft that buys you that time on the ball.

The time of this is a bit weird to be honest. He was exceptional against Spurs.

I agree with the last part but that's not his fault that all our midfielders are or have been injured

Do they pay that much over there, if they do good luck to him, the weather and the pace of the game will suit him as well.
Only the former Euro stars make that much and the spaces are limited. Higuain is on about that much. Chicharito just under. Someone like James in Miami would set a new bar I think.

With everybody fit, he starts. No contest really.

Until we have a better squad, he has to be first choice.
However, I think one more season and he leaves.

Of course lads can have other opinions if they would rather Iwobi and the likes ahead of him.
James has beasted Spurs twice this season. Not often we can say an Everton player has done that.

He will finish top 3 in player of the season and some of you will still complain. :);)

I could be wrong but I’ve no idea why James would want to go to the MLS. If he’s upset with Richarlison and DCL not being good enough to finish his through balls he will hate it out there! More to the point though is he isn’t done proving himself in the prem. He’s proved to Evertonians that he’s class, and I’m sure Spurs fans have seen enough of him, but much like Ancelotti he can build a legacy here. You look at how Aguero will be remembered for turning City from competitive to winners... James can turn us into far more than we’ve been in my lifetimes if he gives us a few years whilst Carlo builds a better squad around him.

He's like a refined wine that elevates the meal
He is the meal. The wine. Desert. Starters. Aperitif. Sides. Bread. That little chocolate they give you with the bill.

The rest of the team is the toothpaste you use to brush your teeth when you go to bed after. It’s needed, but it does detract from the taste of the meal, and certainly doesn’t complement it.
