I would not bat an eyelid if he left, honestly. He clearly can’t be arsed being here.

Yeah same. I appreciate that he is world class on his day, he just gets injured far too much. Seems to me that he’s one of them players that doesn’t play unless he’s 100%. A team like us that lacks quality all over the pitch can’t afford to have someone gets injured every other week.

One of our few players who is looking for a forward pass. The likes of Holgate will happily sprint to the half way line with no intention other than to play an under hit back pass to Pickford.

In terms of ability he's clearly the best in the squad but that just shows how much we are lacking real quality. Out of the teams above us, he'd only be a regular starter for West Ham yet we're pinning everything on him.

I doubt Moyes would carry a luxury player like that who doesn't work enough and cry off with injuries. He moved a few of those out of West Ham.

A good quality footballer but there was a reason he was on a free with few takers.

I’m not sure Moyes would entertain a player that doesn’t put a shift in. See Anderson and Yarmalenko.

He must be massively frustrated. Being injured and seeing your team throw away multiple opportunities to capitalise on other team’s slips and get into the European positions must do his head in, as must putting golden chances on a plate and seeing them spurned. That ball into Richarlison yesterday was class and needed sticking in the net by one of our strikers who both got a bite.

Mad how he's half fit, doesn't look arsed sometimes and he's still 100x better than anything else we have, genuinely could play with one leg and he'd still create more than the others.

He's a luxury player that maybe we don't need right now, but when he gets the ball and looks up he must cry a little inside when not a soul is moving for him.

He's far to good for us.

Well, he knew he was not coming to Everton Galacticos. He is reportedly a world-class player, and then he has to lead by example.

Lost his head a bit last night, didn't he? clear frustration set in and it wouldn't be remiss to suggest that it probably had a knock-on effect on the rest of them.
