So it's fair to say that the club aren't involving him in any form of training? That's not defending James, but clearly the club aren't accommodating him either.

In reality, none of the parties involved (the club or James) are coming out of this looking particularly professional.

As if he doesn’t know who we are playing next irrespective of those things. Just playing a game really.

I know at the start of the season and become progressively less interested as we drop the pace. By the end of last season I forgot we were playing at times.

It was on that Twitch thing which is obviously a live stream, no idea if there is a way of getting it back up but plenty seem to been watching it when he said it.

I've been one of his strongest advocates and wanted him to stay, but this is just shameless and uncalled for from James.

Show a little bit of professionalism and know our next opponent - what if the squad is hit by a covid outbreak and James is one of the few "fit" (using the term loosely) players, who need to play?! I thought he was training and preparing hard to be ready whereever he is?! Doesn't seem that way.

I've been frustrated at the things both him and Benitez were saying (or not saying), but there's absolutley no need for this latest example of blatant disregard & disrespect for his current employer.

Benitez definitely has his share of the blame in all of this, by ostracizing James, but James should show he's better than that and stop disrespecting Everton with his twitch ramblings.

This isn't even a up yours to Benitez - it's an up yours to the club and it's fans, and there's just no need for it.

Spot on. All he has to do is be respectful to club and fans as he goes and he'd be seen very favourably and Benitez and club would bear the fallout if there was any. Silly lad he is.

He's been ostracised since the day Be itez turned up and even had his shirt number given to an academy player.

Don't like the social media stuff and would have liked him to have shown more dignity, but the guy is entitled to be miffed. He's been treated just as bad as Niasse and I had a go at the club over that episode too.
