I'm mad that the club are in such a crap position financially that they have to rely on shifting him to do business which should have been done years ago (right-back etc).

And, if we play like we did yesterday in games, then there is no reason why James couldn't be a very, very useful asset for us.

Imagine if we'd had had someone of his attacking quality to bring on yesterday? Obviously due to the isolation rules it doesn't matter, but there'd be plenty of chances through the season to mix and match.

He then very quickly said we were playing Leeds and hoped for a win

It was CA's decision and the club's to let him leave early last season. He couldn't have played in the City match anyway so was given leave to see his daughter before in theory going to the Copa. He shouldn't have put the picture of him on the plane on when he did.
