So what's his excuse for not playing today ?
Seems odd the manager not wanting the best player by a mileThe manager doesn’t want him. It’s not an excuse.
You've missed the context of what I'm saying. Do you not understand that I'm expressing how disappointed I was when Collins left? You wrote - "I don't care what anyone says. I like him and if he goes it will be as disappointing for me as when Bobby Collins left".
Unless my command of English is bad, you are saying that you like Rodriguez, and the departure of Rodriguez will be as disappointing to you as the departure of Collins undoubtedly was. i.e. you are comparing the potential loss of Rodriguez to that of the great Collins. Therein lies the insult by comparing the great Collins with Rodriguez who has done very little to the Everton cause.
Maybe you think he could become as great as Collins?
The Demarai Gray thread is (<--) that waySeems odd the manager not wanting the best player by a mile
Should be under it..
I doubt that he will be on it.

That of all the players who've left Everton since Bobby left, he was the one who I felt the worst about. How is that insulting?
I'm not comparing Rodriguez to Collins. I'm saying that I will be extremely disappointed if he goes because I think he's one of the most exciting players I've seen and I'm hoping to him to see him play in a packed out Goodison Park.
If that happened, and it doesn't seem likely unfortunately, I'd hope get as much enjoyment from him as I got from Bobby.
I was bitterly upset when Davy Hickson left, but I'm not comparing him to anybody.
Ball?Worse than Rooney ?
We can definitely kick off about him not knowing who we were playing and stuff like that but being bombed out by the manager is a tough one to hang on him .So what's his excuse for not playing today ?
I was disappointed with Wayne because he made the choice to leave. It was entirely his decision. 17 years old , earning a reported 35 thousand pounds a week, and playing for the club you support. A great, great footballer, but he let Everton FC downWorse than Rooney ?
