Not the best choice of game to choose a photo from. lolI loved Alan Ball, but I loved Bobby Collins more. Look at the pic above my name.
Never let himself down thoughI was disappointed with Wayne because he made the choice to leave. It was entirely his decision. 17 years old , earning a reported 35 thousand pounds a week, and playing for the club you support. A great, great footballer, but he let Everton FC down
It was the first one I found. And Brian Labone is in it. Another one of my favourites. Not the best choice of game to choose a photo from. lol

No it's not. If you are a hero and a millionnaire, who cares what you could have done in a star studded Man Utd side?Never let himself down though
His decision to leave was proved to be 100% correct
Won all major honours and wouldn’t have won a carrot in that Everton side
Football isn’t about who you support as a player, it’s a profession and you want to end up with trophies - that doesn’t happen here unfortunately
His next manager will have a face like a cod when his calf explodesToo busy playing COD to train
That's bwhat money does to people. You and Sas have that proud working class Colombian integrity. He's lost his years ago.Never seen a player ruin his stock so badly with stupid decisions and attitude

Players like Rooney are building blocks that make your club grow more succesfull. They attract other great players, deliver higher commercial revenue, they make Everton a more national product.
In 2004 there was little difference between Liverpool and Everton. They had Igor Biscan and Bruno Cheyrou.
But Gerrard stayed and Rooney left and that was that...
? so he should have stayed in that side for the benefit of Everton to see if he could make us better???No it's not. If you are a hero and a millionnaire, who cares what you could have done in a star studded Man Utd side?

The boy was 17 ffs. Wait for another three/five years before moving on. It's still Everton, not Huddersfield or Barnsley.? so he should have stayed in that side for the benefit of Everton to see if he could make us better???
Palatable or not, his decision was right for him, Evertonian or not.
We were absolutely miles off when he left and not close to Liverpool at all
Like every other world class footballer, I’d play for a world class team, he’s no different. The boy was 17 ffs. Wait for another three/five years before moving on. It's still Everton, not Huddersfield or Barnsley.
Miles off? 18 wins and 4th if I'm not mistaken.. and he wasn't even here.
I can only understand it if you only look at it money-wise.
What's winning a trophy with Man Utd worth compared to winning a trophy at your boyhood club everton?
What would you do?
