The Everton curse is rating players when we sign them only to over time realize they're crap.
But largely they've always been crap. I'm struggling to think of a player we signed who was actually well worse here than what they did for the rest of their career and it wasn't because they were just too old.

I like Tarkowski. This is a good move by the club, because we all know Mina has to leave, and Keane cannot lead the defence.
HOWEVER:
Can somebody in authority have a word with the players about shirt numbers please? Tarkowski (a CB) wearing 2 is mildly annoying, Patterson (a RB) wearing 3 is just plain wrong. Give Mykolenko the 3, Patterson the 2 and Tarkowski the 5.
