Yeah I since read your further pre-requisites you added after
I like Pickford and Dom but none of them have achieved anything with us, the same way Tarkowski hasn’t achieved anything with us. Whoever is the best role model, pro, organiser and leader on the pitch should be captain.
I don’t like strikers as captains as they’re ahead of most of the play and as much as I love Pickford as a keeper, his default is shouting and pointing rather than organising ahead of danger so yeah, Tarkowski for me.
