The last part is defenders stats are heavily influenced by how much defense a side plays and since Tarkowski is tasked with being aggressive in a team that plays entirely too much defense (thanks Frank) he racks up tons of "stats." It doesn't mean he's better than Ruben Dias for example who will rank very low in all of these.
Or, now get this.

In this case yeah you should do that. My record on this is clean, I do not think stats work for defenders.
We differ on midfield and attack obviously, I feel you can quantify things there in a way that is helpful and you I'm certain never will. But then that's why I know Iwobi is the man long before you. You've got Gordon pegged at least.

No one got Iwobi right. No one on this planet thought he could play as a 6/8. Loads on here said as a 10 is where he should be but further back? No one.
