He's been one of the very few positives this season, he's a very good CB.
Seen this clip earlier and people making fun of it. He loses his footing but still tries to block the shot. Not sure why this clip is seen as a bad thing?
But he lost his footing? He either falls over and does nothing, or falls over and bravely tries to block a shot with his head.
God forbid a player slips on a wet pitch.

If you look in the corner, just coming into shot is Mcneil, just picked his bum and is sniffing how own finger.
The lazy meff
I like the player and glad we got him but to be a rated player in this Current Everton set up you only have to show a bit of bottle and pride and you're accepted irrespective of how good a player you are. Our fans ask far less now than other clubs fans do as this mess goes on.
As I say I'm made up he's here, but we've always since Labone days had great centre backs and this lad's come in to replace Holgate/Keane/Mina/Branthwaite so very little to beat there.
Same all over the park really, we salute players for a bit of fighting spirit (and rightly so) even if they are average.
Everton was never like this, pride and fight was expected as a given from all and did not mask poor play.
I rate the player as I do Coady and very pleased they're both here but expectations are far lower now.
